Responsible to lead and manage the 3rd shift operations for the Facilities Department and the Waste Processing operation. Responsible for staff training, performance reviews, scheduling, assignments, discipline, time keeping, safety and support. This position will also provide 24/7 on-call coverage on a rotational basis with occasional emergency response required during unscheduled times to include weather related events.


Bachelors degree with five years of related experience; OR Associates degree in Mechanical or Industrial Technology or a closely related field plus seven years of related facilities experience; OR Nine years of related facilities maintenance experience required. Experience must include at least four years of supervisory experience.

Hazwhoper certificate required.


Commercial/Institutional HVAC skills related to boiler/chiller operations required. General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment/systems.

Project management experience.

Building automation systems experience required.

Excellent customer service skills required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Strong computer skills required.


Previous supervisory experience in a union environment preferred.

CHFM certification.
