MANAGER OF ORGAN TRANSPLANT PROGRAM - Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, Abdominal

JOB SUMMARY:

In conjunction with the Transplant Program Director, manages, promotes, evaluates and directs the day-to-day operations of the Transplant Program. Provides direction for organ transplant program in collaboration with the transplant team physicians, sub-specialists, nursing, and ancillary services. The Organ Transplant Manager will be responsible for coordinating resources and activities necessary to ensure that the transplant program meets all regulatory and/or accreditation requirements. This manager will develop and review policies and procedures in relation to transplantation. The transplant manager will develop annual the transplant budget, both operating and capital expenses. The manager will serve as a liaison with other transplant programs, regional hospitals, clinics, community, third party payors and government agencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Degree plus 5 year's experience in allied health and/or hospital administration.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a Master's Degree in Nursing or Health Care Business Administration preferred.

Experience in organ transplantation

Managerial and financial experience within a hospital setting

Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and produce financial plans and reports
