Responsible to administer the Clinical Pastoral Education Program and maintain compliance with national education standards for the CPE programs. Recruit and hire student/intern and Residents for admission to Penn State Hershey CPE programs.


Masters degree of Divinity or equivalent required.

3 years of clinical experience as a chaplain as well as previous administrative experience required.

Completion of an accredited Supervisory CPE Program required.

Must be A Board Certified Chaplain or in process of becoming Board Certified.

Ability to manage a budget and supervise staff required.

Good oral, conceptual and interpersonal communication skills required.

Assessment and computer skills required.

Ability to create curriculum based on changing requirements for spiritual care within our patient population required.

Experience in managing a residency program preferred.
