Responsible for the scheduling of routine and complex radiology appointments including but not limited to: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, PET/CT, Interventional Radiology, and Biopsy appointments for the Department of Radiology. Coordinate all steps from beginning to end for patients needing appointments by working directly with patient, physician, admission staff, technicians, clinic staff and OPAS team. Work with Inpatient Access to arrange bed reservations, as needed. Arrange and coordinate anesthesia, preadmissions, and follow up clinical care and reschedule any part of the process, if necessary.
High school diploma required.
1 year of job related experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
Good written and oral communications skills required.
Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
Ability to coordinate processes through myriad of tests, paperwork, preparations for each patient¿s care is required.
