JOB SUMMARY:

The Registered Nurse/RN in this role is responsible for providing clinical expertise and establishing standards of nursing practice for the care and management of both pediatric and adult ostomy care and skin and wound management. The Registered Nurse/RN also serves as a consultant, educator, clinician and change agent for the staff and patients with ostomies, skin or wound management problems in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Masters degree in Nursing required.

2 years experience in nursing required

Successful completion of an accredited school for Enterostomal Therapy required.

WOCN certification required. If not certified, must pursue and obtain certification within 12 months.

Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
