Responsible for answering phone calls from patients and referral sources, to access multiple site schedules through a centralized scheduling system and to schedule all necessary appointments for medical care demonstrating efficiency, care and compassion.
High school diploma required.
Completion of the Penn State Hershey Medical Center Scheduler Certification Program upon hire.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Candidate must be able to type 30 wpm.
Good written and oral communication skills required.
1 year of working in a Call Center environment preferred.
Experience with Word processing or previous scheduling system preferred.
