RN Registered Nurse Maternal Child Health Float Pool Penn State Health St. Joseph (Reading,PA)

JOB SUMMARY:

The RN Registered Nurse incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.

Education:

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

Experience:

- Recent nursing experience within last 18 months

- 2 years Maternal Child Health, L&D, Postpartum, NICU, or Pediatric experience preferred

License/Certification:

- Active RN license in the state.

- BLS, NRP, PALS required.

- ACLS required on telemetry units within 12 months.
