RN Registered Nurse - Flex Team - Outpatient Interventional Stay Unit (OISU) Penn State Health St. Joseph (Reading, PA)

The Outpatient Interventional Stay Unit (OISU) is a new 15 bed unit that is part of our Surgical Services team. The OISU provides care to patients from the Same Day Procedure, Endoscopy, Infusion, Interventional Radiology, and Pain Management Units.


The RN Registered Nurse incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions.The RN Registered Nurse provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.


- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.


- Recent RN Registered Nurse experience within last 18 months

- Cardiac/Telemetry experience preferred

- Medical/Surgical experience preferred


- Active RN license in the state.

- BLS required.

- ACLS required on telemetry units within 12 months.
