Summary:

This job is responsible for performing medical history and physical pre-exam, as well as Duplex and Physiologic non-invasive Peripheral Vascular exams and evaluations at a technical level in accordance with department protocols and applicable regulatory requirements. An incumbent assumes responsibility for the safe, efficient and proper operation of ultrasound equipment.

Education:

- High school diploma or GED required

Experience:

- Two (2) years clinical vascular experience preferred

- Completion of an accredited allied health education program, plus completion of a six (6) to twelve (12) month externship in vascular ultrasound

License/Certification:

- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required
