JOB SUMMARY:

This job is responsible for performing basic history and physical pre-exam, as well as non-invasive vascular ultrasound in accordance with department protocols and applicable regulatory requirements. Performs high quality, accurate non-invasive diagnostic vascular exams including extracranial cerebrovascular, intracranial cerebrovascular, peripheral arterial, peripheral venous, dialysis access, abdominal arterial, abdominal venous and intraoperative monitoring.Possible travel to Pottsville required. Travel will be discussed during interview.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Completion of an accredited allied health education program, plus completion of a six (6) to twelve (12) month externship in vascular ultrasound required.

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years of clinical vascular experience performing extracranial cerebrovascular, intracranial cerebrovascular, peripheral arterial, peripheral venous and visceral duplex exam preferred.
